Lately I'm obsessed with vintage/vintage inspired graphic tees. Upon a weekly saturday jaunt with my girl Lizzie- we stopped in Old Navy on the way home just for kicks. I found these awesome vintage inspired tees! I had to get the one of Jake Ryan-are you kidding 16 Candles is one of my favorite movies and Jake Ryan will forever be a heart throb in my eyes. Then we bounced over to the boys section and Lizzie found this Lynyrd Skynyrd shirt balled up--in a small! These shirts are both soft as baby blankets! I washed the Lynyrd one and cut it so it would be cropped and EXTRA soft. I can rock it with some cutt off shorts converses, Minnetonkas, or my Dany's with some thigh highs depending on the occasion needless to say these tees are versatile.

My obsession continued when I got this little e-newsletter from Singer22 with one of my favorite bloggers from SomethingNavy modeling some bomb vintage tees and outfits. I have my eye on this Eagles one--anyone who knows me knows I live for some Eagles throwback jams. I'm a sucker for these and will be stocking up as my wallet allows.

obsession of the week: The Dany

Ok I may be late jumping on this bandwagon but I am DYING over these Dany pumps by...yes...Jessica Simpson! I have always been a supporter of her shoes because they can be sky high and I can walk around cooking in them, forever the quality is insane!

These have been on my radar for a while and when I was perusing after Christmas online sale I saw no only were they on sale for $68 from $100 but free three day shipping! Yes please! Once I got the snake skin in the mail I put them on in bed (sick from traveling mind you) and could have slept in them! I have been wearing them everywhere and anywhere with skinnies, knee highs, anything! I love the platform, 70's bohemian rock star style. Again sexy with out trying.

So I hopped on the site this week and saw not only was there STILL free shipping but also they were on sale for $48! Oh don't you worry I ordered myself another pair in this yummy pumpkin color that I had my eye on. I can't wait til they come!

Leopard has always been on my radar but these days it is being taken to the next level. Loving these leopard treats from some of my favorite designers. Leopard is great to pair with a black dress, denim, a crisp white shirt. Keep the rest simple let the spots shine.

Rachel Zoe has been the topic of my postings earlier this month but I was watching her on QVC this past week and I am obsessed with her newest addition to her accessory line for the company. I think she is so smart for adding this venture to her resume. All the pieces she wears and you can tell are inspired by her style.

So as I was packing my suitcase I noticed what steals I managed while visiting my parents, and that a lot of my stuff was from Forever21's contemporary line Love21. The line is Forever21's older sister, launched mid May, with a little increase in price (range from 19.80-32.80) with nicer quality fabrics and apparel. The line is geared towards the adult customer, ladies in their early 20's to early 40's. I wasn't realizing it when I was finding myself drawn to one little corner of the huge store but I bought all Love21 apparel. I have found that the line is more eclectic and suits my personal style. The boxy tee is definitely a summer staple but my favorite version of it right now is the stripe. Perfect for summer with cut offs, skinnies for a night out, or even over your suit. Keep these because the long sleeved version is perfect for winter and stripes will stick around for you to pair with a pair of shorts and tights when the chilly weather comes back around.

*Be careful of this silhouette, since it is bigger and baggier up top, stick to tighter bottoms to make sure you don't end up looking like a balloon with no waist!

Now that is already reaching 90 degree weather in Palm Beach, it is time to show off those toes with some fun summer colors! Essie is my favorite nail color line, I feel like I'm collecting the colors! Don't let me spend more than five minutes in an Ulta because I will buy the whole rack. I am loving their new resort collection. The colors are perfect for summer! Essi's color of the month is "Exposure" which is what I'm wearing this week:) Get it here.

I am loving silk inspired harem, peg leg pants and shorts. Such a comfortable fabric for the warm months ahead yet these could definitely take you into fall. Pair the pants with funky prints and/or neutrals depending on your mood. I love them with pumps but you aren't limited to flats or gladiators for a casual look. You will not be short of comfort.

Ever since these little numbers were covered on the Daily 10 I haven't stopped dreaming about them. The Georgies are by Modern Vintage and I think they are the perfect edgy platform shoe boot, and I "need" a black edgy heel to add to my repertoire. The team at Modern Vintage mixes modern design, old-world craftsmanship, and contemporary styling will remain a timeless piece in a gal's modern wardrobe. Selena Gomez, Nicole Richie, and Olivia Munn are fans.

This week's obsession is related to beauty. I am loving the side braid. From the Runway to the Hollywood starlets, the side braid seems to be everyones coif of choice these days. It is a great effortlessly chic look. You can wear it to the beach and then out to dinner.

A color I am finding myself drawn to right now is lilac. It is everywhere right now! It is a color that can go with any skin tone and you can wear either a little or a lot of from a dress down to your nail color. So trade in your dark plums and magentas for lighter shades of the hue for Spring.

Back to posting my Tuesday Obsession of the Week! I've been slacking but still having weekly fashion obsession need not to worry! This week I am loving cuffing your skinnies or boyfriend jeans. I just got a pair of white skinnies and wore them cuffed with some wedges for an extra Springy look. I personally also think it makes you look a bit taller for all of you shorter ladies. Cuff your pant twice where the pant will fall right above your ankle bone. Pair this look with wedges, flats, gladiators, pumps there is no limit to what you put on your feet with this style! This week I am obsessed with wooden wedges! With the clog making a come back, chunky and wooden platforms and wedges have been popping up all over the shoe departments. In my opinion the higher the better! These are great for your Spring dresses, wide leg linen trousers, rompers, shorts all of your warm wear. I suggest a neutral color to extend your leg and make you look taller. I got the Jeffrey Campbell "Miracle" for my birthday and have worn them non stop. They are not only adorable they're so comfortable!

I am loving these wedge wrap around shoe boots. I honestly don't know what to call them but the silhouette catches my eye and makes me giddy. Maybe because I'm short? The shoes tend to wrap the fabric around the wedge. I love it. For Spring we are seeing new heights literally sky high wedges and clogs. Still trying to find my perfect pair for Spring. Pair these with shorts & tights, flared denim trousers, mini dresses. Loving it.

This week I am finding myself picking up everything and anything acid wash & lace. Hard and soft. Two totally different materials but I am loving them! Try putting them together for an edgy yet soft look.

Trends are making their way backward to the 80's. This obsession of the week is like a Madonna video circa 1986. Forever21 has an extensive collection of both trends for an affordable price point.

Tuesday: Time for obsession of the week. This week I find myself being drawn to cropped tops. Purchased a vintage inspired one from Forever 21 the other day and have been quite obsessed ever since. Pair them with boyfriend jeans, leggings, denim shorts over tights. Be careful dolls, I am not promoting sporting belly baring midriffs Britney circa 1999--these little numbers should skim right above the top of your pants. Don't like the thought of a little tummy showing? Wear a tight cami underneath. You could even make your own go to a thrift store and bust out some scissors! Topshop has quite the collection. I know more will be appearing in my closet soon enough. So 80's throwback love it!

My obsession of the week this week is the fashion social networking site Chictopia.com! I could spend hours on this site. You upload pics of your outfits-tag them and it creates a mini outfit breakdown blog! You can follow other stylistas. Every month based on your chic points (from commenting on others outfits and being rated yourself) and fans you could become Style Icon of the month!
