Ralph Lauren

We know that I'm a sucker for anything Indian or Ranch

inspired. Hello Ralph Lauren crisp white, fringe, belt buckles, and warm neutrals.

3.1 Phillip Lim

Inspired to create a puzzle piece collection, loving the cut outs and neutral colors playing well together. Love these shoes.

Marchesa

Known for their amazing and beautiful creations. Every starlet on the red carpet lusts after these little show stoppers. Love the structured shoulders combined with the floral cutouts.

Michael Kors

Known for creating resort inspired luxury Mr. Kors does not let us down. Love the simple palette of marigolds, white, camels, greens, and sky blues. Effortlessly chic as he knows best.

Milly

She is always a favorite of mine and I love that it is changing up this collection with mixing funky prints with the classic silhouette the line is known for. Funky and classic right up my alley!

Proenza Schouler

This collection started off very Chanel-esque clean and ladylike but I am glad the designers still had their funky prints in bright colors that they are known for pop up at the end. Still lady like just with an edge, the best combination for the modern woman.

Tory Burch

Love that this collection is classic Tory with a little more grown up silhouettes and lines. But she kept true to herself being the queen of the print on print. Love this outfit.

Fashion Week Favorites

Victoria Beckham

Love these hour glass shapes in Posh's line of dresses. She seems to have expanded her scope a little bit and isn't so focused on what she would like to wear. Love the variety of colors and silk fabrics.

Thakoon

White is definitely the new black in the S/S 2011 collections. I love the flouncy suit looks with silk fabrics and I love this funky gray pattern on this dress. He never disappoints.

Rebecca Taylor

It is like Rebecca Taylor took the pieces I like to wear and my ideal style and bottled up and poured it down the runway. My go-to look is a great short with a beautiful blouse. The models are even sporting my hair style of the season because when you have Kardashian length hair in S. Fl all you can do is wear the top knot. This collection along with Jason Wu is by far my favorite. Love every single playful

DKNY

This is for the power girl! I love this palette of deep reds, black, and khaki. Very refreshing from WHITE. I love that this is classic meets modern with the scarves and trenches but new peg leg hem pants. This collection is practical and seems like something every gal would want to invest in as the pieces are timeless.

Derek Lam

The sportswear he is known for is back with a more relaxed silhouette, softer palettes for Spring, and minimalist dressing. Like a lot of the collections were seeing it was a nod to the retro years. I love this classic look of wide leg denim trousers with a white crisp blouse.

Diane von Furstenberg

You'd have to be living under a rock to not know that DVF is not only my woman idol but I die for her line. Clothing, luggage, accessories, you name it I want it. If I could go to any show it'd be hers. Her new designer man Yvan Mispelaere debuted with this S/S 2011 collection. Known for her prints (you know I live for a print) they seemed even more pronounced with bolder color choices but with her classic lines and style. I wasn't LOVING everything but I love the new prints she's introducing and am sure I'll end up with some pieces in my closet it is inevitable, it's Diane.

Fashion Week Favorites

Jason Wu

He will never disappoint with his clean lines and cute over sized bow blouses. I love the navy and khaki palette, tailoring, girly blouses, turbans, and round sunglasses. Effortlessly chic with this over sized floral skirt with the simple striped blouse. An easy A in my book.

Doo.Ri

I love the use of draping here to create a bondage look yet it is not so uptight with the loose flowing tops. The butterscotch sky high platforms and soft palette with a kaleidoscope print have me lusting for Doo.Ri. Cool without trying too hard.

BCBG Max Azria

Taking a step back from prints BCBG was simply chic with a color choice of white, gold, khaki, brown, and black. I love the silky soft fabric and loose silhouettes. Another effortlessly chic look. Love the wrap around cut out shoe.

ZSpoke

Zac Posen's lower priced line had me a bit baffled. I loved the silhouettes the chic suits created but these print choices are harsh on the eyes. Print on print isn't always easy to do and this feels a little bit "under the big top" for me. I do love the jumper in the middle.

Prabal Gurung

Everyone is doing so much white for S/S 2011 however, shades of poppy, bright blue, orange followed by blush and neutral tones came down the runway. It wasn't anything that I was dying to wear off the runway but the collection did not disappoint with beautiful constructed clothes. The new tea length hem lines are here to stay.

Cynthia Rowley

I loved this! It reminded me of That Girl with the poppy, gray, pistachio colors in the beginning of the collection with high waists and collars and silky pant suits. The structured necklaces add that extra bit of cool.

Christian Cota

This is another favorite of mine. I would wear all of this. I love the prints, the styling, and how it is beautifully structured clothing that looks like a breeze to wear. Again loving the suit look and this cut out skirt ensemble. The gray cut out shoes are a must.

Charlotte Ronson

I loved the use of thick thick ski socks in her looks. All of these looks

remind of me of a festival fairy who is about to go hiking. Love that military vest over the florals.

Alexander Wang

For one who has black as the main color in their collection Alex Wang took a chance on bright white. I thought I would be drooling over this but I see myself still being drawn to his staples the over sized sweaters and peg leg harem pants. I love the industrial inspired vest and the funky blue-print dress.

Fashion Week Favorites

Bensoni

I love this mix of prints that came down Bensoni's runway. The models' hair kind of freaks me out but I love the eclectic mix of 70's and today with loose flowing fabrics and print on print. Not many can pull off the print on print look but this is how to do it.

Peter Som

These looks were just the definition of cool. Everyone is nodding back to the 60's and 70's with hemlines and prints yet adding in something from today like an animal print. His choice of colors remind me of pop art. Love the styling of a tweed jacket over a flamingo pink retro bustier and shorts. The glasses and tranny shoes top it off!

Fashion Week Favorites

Fashion week is already in full force! Since I am not fortunate enough to be up there admiring the beautiful art that is the collections of Spring 2011 I will review my favorites here with you courtesy of Style.com.

Vena Cava

I am loving Vena Cava's looks for this collection. It it is effortlessly chic, beautiful silk fabrics, asymmetrical hemlines, and a minimal palette of poppy orange, blue, khaki, red, black, and white. I love the styling as well with sleek lines and chunky shoes. It is very 50's, mod, 80's inspired. The khaki romper reminds me of something Marilyn would wear while lounging by the pool.

Christian Siriano

Every gal loves Christian Siriano and wants him to be in her gay mafia. I wasn't crazy about most of his ready to wear there was A LOT of white. But he is known for his amazing gowns! I loved how he threw this leather cape/jacket over this neutral dress.

What to Wear: FNO

I think it is so cool that everyone across the world is coming together for Fashion Night Out. For those of you who do not know, Fashion Night Out was birthed by Anna Wintour and VOGUE, to support the fashion and retail industries with a special night of late night shopping. I'm glad to see that even smaller cities are doing their part to support the retail world. Do you all have any Fashion Night Out Plans? If so what are you wearing?! Fashion Week Favorites

These are some of my favorite looks from NY Fashion Week. It was filled with fur, knits, knee highs, velvet, suede, platform booties, sweat suit like material, leg warmers, tassels, animal print, hats, boots! Ah just so much inspiration.

Love how Tory can mix classic and edgy structured and comfy. Perfect combination for me.

This girl wearing the short mini with leg warmers and a long fur coat is amazing. I would wear every single piece that came down this runway. The slouchy skirt with pockets-yes.

Finally of course DVF is my favorite. I am a huge fan of the styling of all of her shows. Love that there are multiple themes of girly, powerful, comfy, worldly, and chic. Love you Diane!

Hey dolls. Happy Valentines Day! I hope you all had a great day filled with love with everyone special in your life! Sorry for the lack of posting. Between work and the boy coming in for the weekend busy busy busy!

A lot going on in the fashion world this week-Fashion Week in NY! So jealous of all the lucky ones who get to attend. But alot of designers have decided to stream their shows live to share all of the goodness with us! Check here for a list. Loving Alexander Wang-the sweat material, underwear, and leopard!

I just found out I'm going to New York for the end of the week with my parents as a bday present! I won't be seeing any fashion shows unfortunately but the street style in the city makes New York a fashion show everyday! I literally just want to shop! Topshop H&M all of the amazing stores!

NY Fall Fashion Week 2009 Favorites

Since I have yet to reach the fabulousity level to allow me to attend NY Fashion Week or any fashion week for that matter I will had to live it through my go to fashion blogs and televesion. I am sure that every designer showcasing had incredbile pieces to show us for the 

fall but I decided to review some of my favorites. 

Tibi is known for her playful and bright prints so it

 was interesting to see the take on fall. I love we no longer have to give in to subdued fall colors of black and gray. Bring on the color! I like how Tibi dipped into gold, blue hues, and pinks. 

The play on peacock feathers was eyecatching as well. I love the off the shoulder tunics and the silhouettes created were flattering.

I want to talk about DVF not only because I am a Citystalker but because I think her clothes make any woman feel womanly and chic. All the cool head pieces and crazy stockings accompanying the models were very neat. Diane is always layering and here she shows that you can layer in winter and still have a silhouette while keeping warm.

Changing it up a bit Erin Fetherston's gothic like ice princess pieces caught my eye. I like how she played up mens wear meets snow queen. The detailed geometric patterns and shapes were different and played well together.

I think that Preen's looks were my favorite. They were wintery yet still bright. Pinks, blues, purples, corals, color was everywhere yet in a wintery style. I enjoyed their take on coats and this micro nude mini with this powerful fur coat was fabulous. Preen is edgy and fun yet still makes you feel like you could throw it on and feel warm on a winter day.
