Throwback Style Icon

It is not secret to anyone close to me that I am obsessed with the 80's. The clothes, the music, & the movies ( the late John Hughes is amazing!). One of my favorite movies of all time is "Ferris Bueller's Day Off".
I adore the music, Mathew Broderick circa 1986, & the incredibly stylish and awesome Sloane Peterson. Not only is she the coolest girlfriend on the planet I love her ensemble in the film. The fringe, the leather boots, the high-waisted shorts! I watched the film last night and just had to create a polyvore inspired by the 80's goddess. She definitely has inspired me to step my 80's game up.

Sex & The City 2

I like about every other girl around the world can't wait for the Sex & The City 2 to come out! So many women right now are sipping cocktails before the midnight showings in about 2 hours! I am going home next week for a family visit and promised my mom and sister we'd see it together. So I have to wait a few days but I know it'll be worth the wait!

If I was seeing it with a good group of girlfriends this is what I'd wear. I'm definitely a Carrie so I would channel my inner Carrie specifically her Moroccan-Aidan moment. Which Sex & The City lady are you?
